Providing you Pet with a Fresh Water Supply

It is important to always provide you pet with a source of fresh water.  Your pet water dish can easily be contaminated with airborne contaminants.  If outside, debris, such as leaves, bugs, and animal waste can get into the bowl.

When filling your pets dish take into consideration what you are using.  Can the hose give off toxic chemicals in the water?  Is the water free of chemicals that may harm your pet?

Recently it was found that tap water contains trace quantities of prescription medication.  Is your water free of these contaminants?

Consider if you would be willing to drink tap water, yourself.  If not, why should you feed this to your pet?

You may want to consider water containers which circulate the water.  This will tend to keep the water fresher.

Clean the water container often and if you use soap, make sure that you have rinsed all of the soap off.
